BATEXPO-2026: BGMEA Green Factory Tour Experience the Future of Fashion
A closer look at Bangladesh’s journey towards more responsible manufacturing.
Over the past decades, Bangladesh has made significant progress in safer and responsible garment manufacturing. Today, the country is home of the highest number of green garment factories on the planet. With 291 USGBC-certified LEED factories – including 125 Platinum, 146 Gold and many more factories working towards higher standards – our industry has redefined what responsible manufacturing looks like.
As BGMEA celebrates the Silver Jubilee edition of BATEXPO this November, we are pleased to invite our international guests and partners to experience some of this journey firsthand.
The Green Factory Tour offers an opportunity to visit selected factories and see how environmental responsibility, resource efficiency, worker well-being, circularity and responsible production practices are being integrated into day-to-day manufacturing.
More than a showcase, we hope this will be an opportunity to learn from one another, exchange perspectives and understand the progress and possibilities that lie ahead.
We warmly invite you to join us for the BGMEA Green Factory Tour 2026 on 17 and 19 November 2026.
This is a complimentary courtesy event by BGMEA for our international guests.
